This is my Spring Break 2010 Trip Report!
Featuring my adventures and exploring at MK, EPCOT, DHS, DAK, USF, and IOA.

So hop aboard your Time Rover and lets travel back to Friday March 26th!





Friday March 26th:

As soon as Spring Break started Friday afternoon (Aka liberation from my students day), I took off to sunny Florida. My goal was to be at UOR by 7:00 so I could get my AP processed so I would have it for Saturday. Unfortunately, due to traffic it was a little after 8:00 when I made it to Universal. Since I was running late, I decided to go ahead to Sports and checkin to my room. I was fortunate to get an excellent room in building 5. I was right on the corner and overlooked the parking lot. It was a short walk to Stadium Hall and my car.

I elected not to head out to a park that night since I was tired and spent from my day at work. I went ahead and called it a night since I would be getting up early on Saturday to head to UOR.



Saturday March 27th:

My phone rang at 7:00 and after getting ready for the day, I was out the door around 7:30 heading to Universal. It was before 8:00 when I parked and made my way to IOA. After purchasing my new Universal AP, I became the first person in line for IOA. As a result, I was the very first person they let into the park that day. :cool:

I quickly headed to The Hulk for my first ride. I was able to walk on the front row and enjoy a nice spin. This was followed by Spiderman, Dr. Doom, and JP. At this point, I was already done with the majority of the bottle necks (DD wasn't operating yet), so I explored the area around WWoHP.

WWoHP, looks simply outstanding. From what I could see of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, they are some of the most detailed areas of a park I have ever seen. It really looks like it will rank right up there with the best land/area any theme park has ever created.

Anyway, I believe I rode JP a few more times (my favorite movie and one of my favorite rides) before I headed to Mythos for a delicious lunch. Next up, I headed to USF.

Ellen was filming her show while I was there, so I saw the setup and all the equipment, but I never actually saw her.

Anyway, at USF I rode RRR, Mummy, MiB, Horror Movie Makeover show, and The Animal Actors show. It was now time for me to use my Express Pass that comes with my AP. So, I once again hit Mummy and headed over to IOA. In IOA, I hit Hulk and JP before deciding it was time to leave. The crowds were really swelling at this point. Heck, it was a 60 min for DD with Express Pass at that point. So, I headed back to Sports for a break.

After sitting around Sports for a few hours, I headed out to the bus for a ride to MK. At MK, I experienced CoP, TTA, HM and HoP. I really spent a lot of time soaking in the MK at night. I made sure to be exiting the park when Wishes started to avoid the big bottle neck at the bus loading area.

Once back at Sports, I decided to call it a night. The next day would bring DHS and EPCOT.
