I’ve been hesitant to post the following news since registration for this event has closed once already and could close again at anytime. The event I’m speaking of is a 25 minute Walt Disney World Annual Passholder only tour of the Superstar Television Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, home to the upcoming American Idol Experience attraction. WDWNT is back from the not-so-crowded Walt Disney World theme parks with another fantastic photo report. Let’s take a look at all the newsworthy happenings from around the world: Starting at Disney’s hollywood Studios, this special stage has been set up for the Night of Joy events Construction on the American Idol Experience They are painting the entire building in a new blue color-scheme This is where the old poster that featured a few ABC shows such as Good Morning America used to be. The great Disney’s Hollywood Studios focused website StudiosCentral has a new photo report up today. Here are some newsworthy photos: The single rider line from Toy Story Midway Mania is gone. Expect Fastpass for this attraction to be leaving in the not-so-distant future. Some strange Orange and Red lights have appeared on top of the strange bridge on Pixar Place Stage 1 has a new sign telling guests preparation for a new production has begun. This is rumored to be the location where the Monsters Inc. roller coaster is going. Preparation continues for the American Idol Experience at the Studios. I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!: Singer David Cook, who was recently crowned “American Idol” champion on the popular television show, poses during a break in shooting June 26, 2008 in a Los Angeles recording studio. A crew from Walt Disney World in Florida taped video segments with Cook to utilize in “The American Idol Experience” attraction, scheduled to open in January 2009 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Currently under construction, “The American Idol Experience” is the first theme park attraction to be based on the television series, through an agreement with FremantleMedia Enterprises and 19 Entertainment. Our good friend Jim Hill over at jimhilllmedia.com has put up a great article today giving away some of the details on how the new American Idol Experience attraction will run once it opens officially at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in January 2009. Jim goes through most of he details for this attraction in the article, giving us a good idea of just how many Disney Cast Members it will take to operate this “huge” attraction everyday. AND THE WINNER IS…: Pictured is the new logo for “The American Idol Experience,” a new attraction coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in January 2009. The interactive attraction will bring all the excitement of the popular television show to Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
