WDWNT: The Magazine – Magical Memorium: Kitchen Kabaret & Food Rocks

Epcot Memorium: Kitchen Kabaret by Tom Corless The Kitchen Kabaret Revue was a 13-minute audio-animatronic show that was located inside The Land pavilion, premiering on October 1, 1982 with EPCOT Center. The host, Bonnie Appetite, introduced the various acts in a musical review and comedy format that advocated healthy eating and provided a basic primer on the four food groups: Meat, Dairy, Cereal, and Fruits/Vegetables. The entrance stood on the bottom floor, to the left side. The entrance used pastel colors like the remainder of Epcot, but looked like a Broadway theater with it’s marquee. So, a few months ago, I took a lengthy survey about the 2012 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. All of a sudden, I received a follow-up survey from Disney about the festival just last week… Now, it has been rumored for years that Disney might develop some pre-pay option for the Food and Wine Festival to improve sales and perhaps even shorten the wait times at some of the booths. Our latest extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust begins on Monday at the Canada Pavilion in Epcot. The forecast at Epcot this week is sunny with a chance of flurries.
