Pictures and Video of the Star Tours Grand Opening Ceremony

On Friday, May 20th, at 10:30 AM ET, Star Tours was officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a huge ceremony and a few big surprises. We start this special report with photos of the festivities:

The event began with a procession of Star Wars characters

All of the guests then filled the huge courtyard in front of the Sorcerer’s Hat stage

We watched the pre-produced portions on a large screen

“What an explosion!” More on that in a bit…
