Posted on March 24, 2008

It has been a while, but staff photographer Jose Eber is back with a Walt Disney World photo update. This time, we’ll travel beyond the parks to some resorts and Downtown Disney:

Work continues on the new pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

Some very nice details of the new pool area have emerged.

The construction site for the new pool is huge!!!

The new north wing at Disney’s Contemporary Resort continues to rise higher and higher.

How much longer can they deny the existence of this structure???

A daytime shot previews what will be a beautiful picture in the near future.

This shot gives you an idea of just how big this “mystery” structure will be.

The rapid construction of this building is aiming for a fall 2009 finish.

T-Rex Restaurant, coming this fall to Downtown Disney.

A tall black building awaits it’s prehistoric transformation into the T-Rex Restaurant.

My beloved Wolfgang Puck Express has re-opened at Downtown Disney with a mildly modified menu and a whole lot more seating.

The new format allows guests to place their order, wait in line to be seated, and are then served beverages and meals by a waiter. Imagine this as a hybrid between table and counter service restaurants.

The whole restaurant received a face-lift, it looks really great.

For the first time ever on this website, we going off WDW property!!! Construction continues on the new Hilton and Waldorf Astoria on Bonnet Creek.

Not too long until these two Hilton owned hotels open their doors.

Two hotels coming a little too close to the magic for Disney’s liking.

Not exactly sure how long construction has been going, but it has been a fairly quick rise for these buildings.

To conclude our update, it looks like preparation for the new Treehouse Villas is beginning, as a refreshed sign appears where a dilapidated one once stood.
