WDWNT Reporter Banks Lee spent his President’s Day at a very busy Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on Monday and he has a number of newsworthy photos to share with us:

Work continues on the queue for the new Mickey and pals meet and greet  in the Exposition Hall

Work on the Main Street Railroad Station continues

New maps at the Magic Kingdom

The Plaza Ice Cream facade still under tarps

Nice to see a sign that isn’t Stanley Tools

The Plaza Restaurant is under tarps as well

The Crystal Palace refurbishment has ended and the restaurant has re-opened

The new bridge isn’t quite ready outside the restaurant

Working through the day

The Cinderella Castle refurbishment rolls on as well

Walls in the back of the castle

Water still very red

Construction walls rise behind Pooh’s Playful Spot and Ariel’s Grotto

Facade work on-going at Peter Pan’s Flight

A look over the walls in Fantasyland reveals… not much yet

Tomorrowland Terrace still under tarps

Main Street Philharmonic in Fantasyland for some reason

Splash Mountain is scheduled to re-open February 28th from it’s refurbishment

The Diamond Horseshoe open for the holiday crowds

Most of the walls at the Tomorrowland Terrace are down

On to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Backlot Studio Tour is closed for the next month and a half at the least

A temporary cart set up while Studio Catering Co. is closed

The bee returns to service at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Play-set Adventure

A line???

No way….

Taking a look into the Backlot Tour area, the Mojave Oil Tanker from Catastrophe Canyon is gone

WOW…..

Hard to believe it has been a year already since the American Idol Experience opened
