Latest Progress on “Tangled” Restroom Area

Posted on February 7, 2013

A WDWNT reader was nice enough to send in the following pictures of the “Tangled” restroom area in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom that is currently under construction:

As you can see, work is nearing completion

Pavement is down where guests can cross into Liberty Square

There will even be a small water feature as guests cross a bridge

Stay tuned as we continue to track the progress on this new area of Fantasyland until it is completed!

I am in love with this new addition to Fantasyland, particularly Rapunzel’s tower…Some folks don’t like that you can see the tower from Liberty Square, but in all reality, you can see the Castle and Tomorrowland from that area too. There are plenty of spots in the Kingdom where lands bleed into each other a bit…It’s what makes it a Magic Kingdom!

Fantastic work! This shows the Disney difference at its best.

I still hope they put up a bunch of trees that will help hide the Tower from the mansion area.

I find Rapunzel’s Tower far less intrusive than seeing the old skyway buckets starting their journey towards Tomorrowland….(don’t get me wrong-I really miss the Skyway). Can’t wait to see it in person in just 30 days.

This area looks great! Hopefully we’ll see Rapunzel doing her meets here.

They fixed that issue this week. New Trees (or Branches) make the Mansion not visible
