“Give Me a T!” Test Track Exterior Concept Art Revealed

For those of you wondering what the facade of Test Track will look like when it is completed, wonder no more:

If you look closely, you’ll even see the World of Motion pavilion logo in the giant T on the canopy. Test Track presented by Chevrolet opens December 6th at Epcot.

So, what do you think of the new look for Test Track?

Having not experienced the attraction in its new form yet, I cannot yet ascertain my opinion of it. However, based on the single concept drawing that is shown of the new entrance there appears to be a stark contrast between the curved lines of the queue entry areas and the awning that was held over from the previous Test Track. While I am sure this serves some kind of practical advantage to the company, one cannot help but wonder if this had been necessary in the first place if Horizons was still open.

Not really impressed from the outside. They were testing the cars last week at night. It looks like there are blue lights that go all around the track on the outside. I can’t remember if the original Test Track had that or not.

Looks interesting. I wish they’d completely do away with the canopy, though. The original World Of Motion building was a truly wonderful sight. The track doesn’t take away from it that much, but the canopy is a bit absurd, IMO.
